[EVENT] ASTRO San Antonio - October 2022
A look back at the participation of our experts in ASTRO which took place in San Antonio from October 23 to 26, 2022: a first for our teams!
Interest of the study
The American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) is a professional association of radiation oncology which is dedicated to improving patient care through professional education and training, support for clinical practice and health policy standards, and the advancement of science and research.
The association has more than 10,000 members covering a wide range of professions, including radiation oncologists, radiation therapists, medical dosimetrists, medical physicists, radiation oncology nurses and radiation oncology biologists.
Presentation of the latest research and advances of the group
Our experts in radiobiology, MRI, dosimetry and medical physics (Eloi Dargent, Fanny Carbillet, Sandrine Pereira and Thomas Puiseux) represented the Alara Group’s panel of expertise at the association’s annual congress.
Sandrine Pereira, PhD, specialized in radiobiology, industrial transfer and medical devices, presented the latest work of Neolys through two presentations .
During an oral communication on the use of radiosensitivity tests in the prospective pediatric ARPEGE studyIn addition to an oral communication on the use of radiosensitivity tests in the prospective pediatric ARPEGE study, we presented poster 2535 during a discussion session on the results of a test for the prediction of late toxicity in prostate cancer patients.
- High-performance cellular radiosensitivity assay combined with a polygenic score to predict late post-radiotherapy overreaction in prostate cancer patients: a proof of concept
- Evaluation of a functional radiosensitivity test in the prospective pediatric ARPEGE cohort
Congratulations to all our team for their work and this first participation in ASTRO 2022, and see you in a few months in San Diego for the 2023 edition!
